Jakiś czas temu miałem przyjemność malować Mengil Manhide's Manflayers które ostatnio widziałem na stole w szóstej edycji Warhammera, ten oddział znajdował sie w dogs of war.
Na pierwszy rzut oka wszytko było super, ładne modele przyjemne dla oka, przecież to są tylko ciemne elfiki. ale jak przyjrzeć się lepiej na te modele to okazuje się że mają płaszcze i sztandar z ludzkiej skóry więc można powiedzieć że to nie są tylko zwykłe ciemne elfy tylko prawdziwi mordercy żądni krwi, oddział śmierci.

Some time ago I had the pleasure of painting Mengil Manhide's Manflayers which last I seen on the table in the sixth edition of Warhammer, this unit was in the dogs of war.
At first glance, all was great, nice models pleasing to the eye, these are just dark elves. But as you look more closely at these models, It turns out that they have coats and a banner of human skin so you can say that they are not just dark elves but true bloodthirsty killers, a death squad.

Tyle czasu minęło a on dopiero teraz wpadł w moje ręce. Przedstawiam Bretońskiego lorda ze smoczą lancą. Mam wrażenie że jest to dość rzadki model ponieważ czasami gram na turniejach i mam trochę Bretońskich kolegów ale jakoś nigdy nie widziałem tego modelu na stole. Pomalowany został w stylu "retro" i zabezpieczony lekko świecącym lakierem, jak wam się podoba? Taki styl malowania będę testował jeszcze ponieważ uważam że niektórym modelom taki styl po prostu pasuje, jestem w trakcie zbierania starych metalowych modeli więc na pewno coś jeszcze zmaluje w przyszłości w takim właśnie stylu, więc obserwujcie etykietę "Oldhammer Painting".Niedawno malowałem Bretońskich bohaterów na piechotę z firmy Norba Miniatures których możecie zobaczyć tu. Bretoński Lord pomalowany w innym stylu, kto zgadnie jakiej prowincji to są barwy?
Pamiętam czasy jak wchodziła 6 edycyjna armia Bretonii, od razu kupiłem podręcznik i grałem na samych podstawkach bo bardzo chciałem przetestować nową armie, armia posiadała świetny klimat, fajne opisy rodów, historie, jak się nie mylę to chyba to był pierwszy kolorowy podręcznik do Warhammera. Nigdy nie zapomnę pierwszego zwycięstwa bo jakoś tak łatwo się grało.
Największe zaskoczenie to że zaprzestali produkowania takiej wspaniałej armii, choć lepiej pomyśleć że wszyscy poszli szukać świętego grala i kiedyś wrócą jeszcze silniejsi.

Bretonnian Lord painted in a different style, Who guess what province is that color?
I remember the times when the 6th edition of the Bretonnian army came in, I immediately bought the book and played only on the bases because I wanted to test a new army, The army had a great climate, cool descriptions of the families, stories, as I was not wrong it was probably the first colored armybook to Warhammer. I will never forget the first victory because somehow so easy to play.
The large surprising was that they stopped producing such a great army, Although it is better to think that everyone go to seek the holy grail and someday they will return more stronger.
